Florence Bag is worked seamlessly from the top down. First. a stockinette stitch edge is worked. then the sides of the bag are worked in the round in lace pattern. The bottom is worked in lace pattern with decreases. Finally. a lining is sewn and then sewn into the bag and a leather strap is attached. The accompanying purse is worked from the top down. The bottom is sewn together with Kitchener Stitch. Finally. a lining is sewn and then sewn into the purse.
